Joey Mcintyre’s organization letsgetthis.org has collected over 25000 books in less than three months! How amazing is that!? These books will go to children of low income households. Joe and his wife Barrett think that reading is an important tool in life (of which I 100% agree!!!) so they decided to start this organization off with a book drive!
The great thing about LGT.org is that it doesn’t stop at just a book drive (as if that wasn’t enough!!) but it will focus on something else next, and so on. Programs that I assume are like music related, maybe a food drive, umm…maybe even medical related…who knows! Thats the beauty of it, you never know whats gonna happen next! You never know who we will be helping next! I love it!!
The Mac’s are good people :) (who, btw, is expecting baby boy #2 in december!! WOOT WOOT!! as if that family could get any cuter, they have to add another toe head into the mix! lol)
And now, *sigh*, NKOTB is done. Supposedly for just a year, but idk. I hope I’m wrong. I hope they come back. I love those guys like brothers, for real. I mean, brothers I never knew… lol It’s hard to explain, and I’m sure no one cares, so I wont LOL. But I am SO sad. I feel an emptiness in me again. And I know they wont tweet or anything anymore and that breaks my heart. It was nice to hear from Joe mac every once in a while. Donnie with his wisdom lol And Jon…dude made me laugh every time. Jordan is just a dork! LOL And danny with his body training lol *sigh* I’m gonna miss it. It was like we got to know them a bit. Like they let us in juuuuust enough. It was nice.
