It never ceases to amaze me that people that claim to ‘love’ you STILL choose to hurt you on a daily basis. Isn’t love *almost* free from hurt? Whn you love someone, you dont WANT to hurt them. You go out of your way to NOT hurt them, and you certainly know where the bounderies are.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I am an amazing person. I may not be beautiful (on the outside), I may have jacked up teeth (thanks to parents who didnt take me to the dentist or teath me proper oral care) but you know what…that’s not what makes me ME. I like beautiful songs about love; I like to dream about a man sweeping me off my feet (so to speak); I love when it snows and it’s SO quiet…like the earth is bowing to God in admiration; when I’m all by myself and no one is looking I like to dance in the rain because its awesome; YES, when I DO like to watch animated movies with my kids because they are FUN!; steping on crunchy leaves in the fall makes me smile. All these things aren’t just something I DO…it’s something I FEEL. That’s what makes me ME. Not what I look like on the outside. And I wish people could look over that and see the person for just that. Because its the people who aren’t perfect, who aren’t confident, who know how to love the best. They dont take love for granted.
